Sudanese Sesame Oil pressed in camel-driven traditional oil mills is very popular and widely consumed both locally in Sudan and abroad. It is usually eaten by the vast majority of Sudanese as part of their traditional breakfast meal (beans with sesame oil and bread). It is also used as a dressing for a variety of salads as well. The Sudanese Sesame Oil is used as a medical treatment for chest infection, cough, joint pains and other orthopaedic soreness as well as skin diseases.
